This funding also ensures the acquisition of enhanced military capabilities, and the permanent superiority of its forces, the officials said.

The United States operates around 2,100 advanced fighter jets, 967 attack helicopters, 900 air transportation vehicles, and special-purpose aircraft, including strategic bombers.

Its arsenal also includes the latest unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), known as drones, including the MQ-9, equipped with precision and smart missiles.

US naval forces operate 11 aircraft carriers equipped with the latest defense systems, each of which can accommodate between 85 and 110 combat aircraft.

Additionally, an estimated 6,100 tanks, 40,000 armored vehicles and 1,500 self-propelled guns are ready for use by ground forces.

US forces focus on practical training using a variety of methods, including simulated scenarios bases in the area of operations may encounter, such as countering ballistic missiles or attack drones.

Robust reconnaissance and information gathering operations meanwhile enable US forces to remain vigilant and ready to defend themselves, everywhere and at all times, officials said.

Numerous incidents over the past years demonstrate the ability and commitment of US forces to respond quickly to threats and to those who try to target their military sites in the region.

The US military's legacy of success is evidenced by the victories of its forces, and by the defeats and heavy losses suffered by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its proxies when these armed groups engage US forces.

Attacks targeting US soldiers or citizens are never tolerated, military officials stress, noting that the response is usually swift and decisive.
